Writing this has been the subject of much discussion (and good natured humour). It is not every day that I write and endorsement of a real estate agent, so one must have fun with it as it may not happen again for some time. So here goes…
Things we appreciated.
- A practical sense on the selling features of a house.
- An understanding that finding the right buyer is not a matter of simply lowering the price.
- An attitude to keep at the job of selling the house, despite apparent set backs, or the volatility of the market.
- An excellent level of service at all times, even at times we did not expect it.
Overall, in a market of many available agents, (and we shopped around), we came to understand the quality agent we had in the first place. Jason earned and deserved every cent of his commission on this house. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anybody looking to buy or sell in the area. A job well done.

I first met Jason by visiting a listing that he was showing. He showed the house with pride, and honesty. I was rather shocked from this as I had just finished a house deal in another town that didn’t go very smoothly. I never believed that someone could be so friendly, honest and willing to go well beyond the call of duty in order to help a prospective client in need. I had been around to many houses and was starting to feel bad that my pickiness might be wearing a little thin on him. But there was never any pressure to put in an offer and never any hesitation to show me yet another home. Always keeping me informed of what was going on with houses I showed some interest in. My mom came to see some of my final choices and after going through a few houses with him was just floored with his honesty, helpfulness, professionalism and knowledge that she wanted to move to Port Elgin in hopes that everyone was as kind and caring as Jason.
